Place Group Celebrates International Women’s Day

March 8th is International Women’s Day. 

Today Place Group celebrates the resilience, strength, and achievements of all women, especially those in our team.

Associate Director Jess wants to share some of the things that she is most proud of, in hopes of inspiring other women to also reach for the sky!

‘Hi, I’m Jess! International Women’s Day for me means celebrating the progress of women, as well as ensuring women everywhere can access equal opportunities and achieve their ambitions.
I have been working full time for Place Group for 4 years now and working here has helped me achieve things I never thought I’d have the opportunity to. I recently bought my first house that my partner and two adorable dogs have moved into with, as well as starting my master’s degree studies in Public Procurement Law and Policy. In my spare time I volunteer for a local mental health charity as a trustee and meeting facilitator which is not only hugely rewarding but also ties in with my strong appreciation for my colleagues and passion for learning. International Women’s Day is a hugely important day for women everywhere’
